Introduction
La Gateway National Recreation Area est un parc national urbain unique situé à New York, établi en 1972. Elle englobe des paysages divers, y compris des plages, des zones humides et des sites historiques, offrant un répit à la vie citadine. Les visiteurs viennent profiter d'activités de plein air, en apprendre davantage sur les écosystèmes locaux et explorer la riche histoire de la région.
Le parc est divisé en quatre unités : Jamaica Bay, Breezy Point, Staten Island et Sandy Hook. Chaque unité offre des expériences distinctes, de l'observation des oiseaux au Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge aux activités de plage à Sandy Hook.
