Roanoke Star
The Roanoke Star, also known as the Mill Mountain Star, is a large illuminated star located on Mill Mountain in Roanoke, Virginia. Standing at 88.5 feet tall, it was first erected in 1949 as a Christmas decoration and has since become a symbol of the city.
