Leshan Giant Buddha: the world's largest stone Buddha statue, consider visiting during weekdays to avoid crowds, and be prepared for a steep walk down to the viewing area.

Mount Emei: a sacred Buddhist mountain with scenic trails, bring sturdy shoes for the hike, and note that winter can bring snow, making some trails difficult.
