介绍
蒙萨拉什坐落在瓜迪亚纳河谷上方的山丘上，是一座有城墙环绕的村子，白色房屋加石头街道，从一头走到另一头只要二十分钟。汽车都停在城门外，所以清晨很安静，片岩城墙上映出的光影是大多数人最难忘的画面。
视野可以延伸数英里，越过阿尔克瓦水库和山下的葡萄园。夏天中午旅行团一到就热闹起来，到了傍晚又变得空荡荡。如果可以的话就住一晚，因为夜幕下的蒙萨拉什几乎没有车流，满天星斗，这才是真正值得来的理由。

Migas alentejanas：油煎面包配猪肉和大蒜，管饱又便宜。: fried bread with pork and garlic, filling and cheap.
Ensopado de borrego：羊肉炖菜浇在面包上，阿连特茹的经典菜。: lamb stew served over bread, an Alentejo staple.

历史
从史前时代起就有人住在这座山上，所以周围的田野里散落着数百块巨石，有些是五千多年前立起来的。先是罗马人，后来是摩尔人占据了这处高地，因为它扼守着瓜迪亚纳河的渡口。这个名字来自 Xarez，是阿拉伯时期对这一带的叫法。
13 世纪基督徒军队攻下了这座村子，迪尼什国王把它交给圣殿骑士团，用来守卫西班牙边境。你今天看到的城堡和城墙就是从这段边防历史中发展起来的。当阿连特茹的边境失去了重要性，蒙萨拉什便悄然衰落，而正是这份宁静的衰落，保住了它中世纪的模样。
须知事项
车停在城门外，城内是步行区，铺的是鹅卵石，所以穿平底鞋来。
夏天中午人最多，早点来或下午 5 点之后来会清静些。
餐厅和景点营业时间都很短，而且很多每周有一天关门，出发前先查好。
公共交通很少，想去石柱和 Esporao 真的得有辆车。
宜与忌
住上一晚，看看空荡荡的村子和满天繁星。
带上现金，因为小店和小教堂可能不收卡。
沿着城墙走完一整圈，能看到最棒的免费风景。
旺季记得提前在 Os Templarios 订位。
别想着开车进城墙里面，把车停在城门口就行。
别指望有很多班车，自己安排好交通。
别赶时间，蒙萨拉什的精髓就是慢下来。
