介绍
Vilamoura是位于阿尔加维中部海岸的一座专门打造的度假小镇，围绕着欧洲最大的码头之一布局。这里没有老城区，也没有村庄广场。取而代之的是一片井然有序的酒店、公寓楼、五座高尔夫球场，还有一条沿水岸排列着餐厅、包船服务和酒吧的水滨大道。
这里的人群五花八门：打高尔夫的、参加打包度假游的家庭，还有游艇船主。旺季从六月持续到九月，那时码头的步道到了晚上就挤满了人。要是五月或十月来，同样的地方会安静得多，海水温暖，价格也更低。
Sightseeing
Marina de Vilamoura：小镇的核心，超过1000个泊位，两旁都是咖啡馆和游艇。: the heart of town, over 1,000 berths lined with cafes and yachts.
Cerro da Vila：有马赛克和浴场的罗马遗址，就在码头旁边。: Roman ruins with mosaics and baths, right beside the marina.

当地美食与饮品
Cataplana de marisco：用铜锅炖的海鲜锅，适合大家一起分享。: seafood stew cooked in a copper pan, made for sharing.
烤沙丁鱼：夏天既便宜又常见，在Quarteira的餐厅里最好吃。: cheap and common in summer, best in the Quarteira restaurants.
Arroz de marisco：汤汤水水的海鲜饭，是当地的招牌菜。: soupy seafood rice, a regional staple.
Dom Rodrigo：用蛋黄和杏仁做的甜点，在当地的糕点店有卖。: sweet with egg yolk and almond, sold in local pastelarias.

历史
按葡萄牙的标准来看，Vilamoura算是很年轻的。这个度假区是在上世纪六七十年代，在一大片私人庄园上统一规划出来的，码头则在1974年开放。你现在看到的几乎所有东西，都是为了旅游从零建起来的。
这片土地本身要古老得多。罗马人曾在这里建过一座别墅和腌鱼作坊，如今作为Cerro da Vila保存了下来，后来这里还被西哥特人和摩尔人用过。几百年间它一直是农田和海岸，直到开发商把它变成了今天这座高尔夫和码头小镇。
须知事项
码头这边的价格明显比几步之遥的Quarteira贵不少。
这里没有历史老城区，所以有些游客会觉得它有点千篇一律。
公共交通有限，想逛更大范围的阿尔加维，有辆车会方便很多。
夏天码头和海滩附近的停车位一到上午晚些时候就很快满了。

夏天要提前预订高尔夫开球时间和看海豚的行程。
去看看Cerro da Vila，它就在码头旁边，很容易错过。
如果酒吧有当地牌子的medronho，可以尝一尝。

别只靠公交车来游览这个地区。
